The intention was to install the fresh engine in the ’64 Chevelle in the back ground, which has the original 194 inline 6 with a split exhaust and 2 barrel carb from Langdon Stovebolt, and 3 speed Turbo 350 automatic transmission. The Fleetline was a project that had been started and passed around a few times. Helmuth has pulled the original complete but frozen 216 and 3 speed manual tranny, and will put in the rebuilt 292, 3 speed auto, and replace the original torque tube differential.
