This 1932 Chevy 3 window coupe is being built by Lew Lewis (#6163) for his son-in-law and daughter. It belonged to his son-in-law’s Great Grandmother and has been in family since before WW II.
When the car came of the ranch in Fresno, California, the sheet metal was in good shape, but the wood floorboards could not be saved and have been replaced with steel and patch panels have been installed. The chassis has a dropped front axle with disk brakes, 4 bar, rear is an S-10 Chevy pickup with triangulated 4 bar and coil-overs.
The engine will be a 250 six with a Turbo 350. When the car came off the ranch in Fresno all wood was bad but sheet metal was in pretty good shape.
